Forrest Dickison was born in 1992 in Moscow, Idaho. He grew up roaming the woods and rolling wheat fields of the Palouse region with his three brothers and a dog named Fender (like the guitar). From an early age he began observing and copying the world around him, which eventually resulted in a full-time career as an illustrator and a fine artist. His illustration work has been published by HarperCollins and adapted into the Netflix Original Series, "Hello Ninja." His fine art is a curation of the rugged beauty and harmonic colors of the American West and was featured in Southwest Art Magazine’s article, "21 Under 31, Young Artists to Watch." Forrest grew up in a Christian home where he learned to love God and the world that He made. This upbringing included an appreciation for the paintings of artists like NC Wyeth, Edgar Payne, and Maynard Dixon. Following in their footsteps, Forrest seeks to capture the essence of the American spirit and instill deep gratitude for the land and culture that we have inherited. Forrest currently lives with his wife and three daughters in Moscow where he works as a professional artist. He is represented by Montana Gallery in Billings, Montana.
